To Whom It My Concern:
It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Kathy Darin. I have worked with Kathy Darin for the past year in a 5th grade math inclusion classroom. Kathy has risen to the challenge of teaching all the different types of students in the class. We had students who did not speak a word of English, to students who were gifted, to students who were 2-3 years below grade level in math. With the differences in the classroom, Ms. Darin is open to suggestions and is always willing to accommodate or modify work based on the learners needs. I am quite impressed with Ms. Darin's ability to have so many different types of learners in the class and how she is able to make sure each student is receiving the instruction that is needed to ensure their success in math.
Ms. Darin's knowledge of the math curriculum and different strategies is wonderful. I have enjoyed learning new ways to teach students different skills through her techniques. She is very skilled i running organized centers daily. She makes sure that every student's individual need is met through her centers.
Overall, Ms. Darin is a wonderful math teacher who always has the students best interests and needs in her heart. She will modify or accommodate to make sure that every student is successful in her math class.
Sincerely,
